PEARSON X CANTII WAY

After the great success of King Alfred's Way and West Kernow Way, Cycling UK has launched its latest route The Cantii Way. This 145 mile (234 km) loop starts and ends in the village of Wye, close to Ashford, in Kent.

Taking its name from the Iron Age Celtic tribe who inhabited the area, the Cantii Way combines dramatic chalk cliffs with the rolling hills of the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty while exploring quaint seaside towns.

We were thrilled to be chosen to provide Cycling UK, and their touring partner Pannier CC, with our range of gravel bikes for the official inaugural trip.

We set the bikes up with 40 X 700c gravel tyres as this is ideal for the gravel and road terrain of the Cantii Way in summer, in winter we would reccomend a slightly larger tyre to combat the muddier sections. The bikes were fitted with Restrap bikepacking bags, Restrap is a family run business in Yorkshire that specialises in handmade outdoor accessories.
