A beautiful road ride from our current capital to the old capital of England. Alfred the Great seated his government in Winchester in 871.
This route promises to take you through some lesser-known Surrey and Hampshire roads. Ride past Hampton Estate Hops gardens, the last commercial hop gardens in Surrey. Be ready for some punchy climbs before hitting your final destination. Trains back to London take 1hr 20 mins.
